Vagator Beach :

Vagator is one of the most beautiful and interesting part of Goa's Coastline. It is the most photographed beach in Goa. Although Popular it is one of the exotic and remote beaches in Goa.

The northern half of the picturesque beach faces a bay which curves from the headland to the hillock crowned by the Chapora Fort. Between the headland and the hillock the waves rush up the sloping silvery beach, while the palms stand far back adoring the beautiful creation of nature.

At the tip of the headland are sea-washed rocky outcrops which provide enough privacy for lovers and others who want to be left alone. Towards the south are more rocky outcrops, sandy patches and interesting tidal pools.

Lying just a couple of kilometers from Anjuna, Vagator is divided in to two parts "Small Vagator" and "Big Vagator", where Big Vagator is accessible by road. But to go to small Vagator, you have to walk down off the main lane of Chapora-Anjuna, as it's the only way. So it becomes a remote beach. Small Vagator is famous for its trance parties that go on for couple of days together.
