Baga Beach :

Baga and Calangute can hardly be differentiated, but the beach at Baga is better and more interesting. The backwaters flow from Arpora is amazing view to watch, especially during the eve and nights.

A fresh rivulet also named as Baga, merges into the sea here, making the location quite scenic and interesting.

It is believed that the sand at the Baga beach is endowed with some natural curative properties, hence one can see many people smearing the wet sand on their body. Lush paddy fields and red tiled houses grace the scenic route along the river towards Anjuna.

Lots of activities are carried out during the daytime as well as in the nights. People flood in for clubbing at the nights, which goes on till early morning. During the Christmas & the New Years the roads in Baga & Calangute are jam-packed. That's why no doubt that Baga today is one of the most crowded & visited beaches in Goa.

A lot of Rajasthani or Gujarati females are seen around who artistically tattoo your body with henna color.
